Hello to all, Hello to myself,

My senior english teacher in high school would repeatedly tell a story that ended with the question… “Have you ever been in love with love?”

That has always been one of my favorite things to say and to think about.  I think that we have all been in love with love.  Personally, I spent most of my life being in love with love.  I have longed to love.  I have longed to be loved.  I have loved to long…  I have wondered what ‘real’ love is.  I have questioned the presence of love in my life.  I have doubted love. I have denied love.

I don’t have any answers about what love is.  I say that because I think it is too big to simply define.  I believe that love ‘IS’.

I love my wife, I love my children, I love the simple moments when I get to smile.

“Have you ever been in love with love?”

If you have you ever taken a breath, than the answer is yes.
